Note on course hours: Sources currently disagree: a Texas DPS page describes 24 hours of classroom instruction, while many approved providers still list 32. We are identifying the controlling TDLR curriculum before publishing an exact figure.

- • Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) — 2h. Must be completed within 90 days of the driving test.
Teen must be 14–17 and enrolled in a TDLR-approved parent-taught driver education course. Parent must complete the TDLR parent-taught instructor designation process.
